VENICE, CA – Mick Blue has already established himself as the greatest male porn star of his era and now the man often referred to as the “James Bond of porn” is ready to try out another arena: race car driving.
The man has proven that he has the focus and stamina to pull off any project in his sights and this one dream has been on hold since he was a young boy growing up in Austria.
“Ever since I was little I have dreamed of racing cars,” Mick said. “It’s a dream that has been in waiting for many years while I’ve been working in the adult industry, but I’ve never forgotten about it and feel like it’s time to put a plan in action. I know I have some very generous friends and fans and I really hope they will help me make this dream come true.”
Mick has completed two levels of training at Skip Barber Racing School and has been invited to compete in the Racing Academy Shootout last month at Atlanta Motorsports Park, where he competed against 30 new drivers from around the world and placed in the top 10 after three days of racing.
He has now been invited to race in the 2017 Skip Barber Championship Series with the opportunity to win a $100,000 scholarship.
“I want to show everyone that even at 40 years old it is possible to achieve your goals,” he said. “We need to continue dreaming big and great things can happen and for this dream to come true for me would be one of the greatest achievements in my life. It’s been amazing so far.”
Mick has established a GoFundMe fundraiser to help raise the $35,970 he needs for use of the Skip Barber race car for the six weekends that make up 18 races for the Championship Series.
