Rolling Stone writer EJ Dickson covers pop culture for the iconic publication. In a recent article, she tries to uncover the mystery of Belle Delphine and her online antics in an article titled “Is Belle Delphine, a.k.a. Bathwater Gamer Girl, the Greatest Troll On the Internet?” Delphine rose to fame on YouTube and is known for selling her bathwater for $30 a jar (which sold out instantly) and multiple marketing stunts on Pornhub. Although Delphine refused to comment, the article is quite informative about her.
As an adult star and cosplayer, Marica was interviewed at length and asked to comment on the Belle Delphine phenomenon. Marica is actually impressed by her cosplay and views her manga characters as a type of homage. And, she can see why teens and guys in their twenties are embracing this type of online geek culture.
“Belle is not only super cute cosplayer, but she’s also a cosplay boss,” says Marica Hase. “I’m very enamored with her and would actually like to meet her one day. I’m so glad that Rolling Stone interviewed me and saw me as a cosplay expert as well as a top adult performer. I hope my fans enjoy the article.”
