Adult community and video distribution platform ManyVids has announced a “1,000,000th vid” contest, in which the person who uploads the site’s one-millionth video will receive the benefit of promotion by ManyVids through a variety of marketing channels.
“Within the 5 years since ManyVids began, MV’s become one of the fastest growing adult communities with 2.7M active MV members, 77.7K MV Stars, and almost one million vids,” the company said in a statement announcing the contest. “In fact, ManyVids is going to hit the one million vid mark any time now and want to celebrate this incredible milestone that’s a triumph for everyone on the MV platform.”
Under the promotion, the “MV Star” who uploads the millionth video will be promoted through the company’s social media accounts, be featured on the header ManyVid’s Twitter account (which has over 738,000 followers as of the time of this post), a full row of the uploader’s videos will be featured on the MV main page for 24 hours and a pop-up ad leading to a ManyVids blog post and video about winning the contest.
“Now’s the time to get your content out to the world and upload your vids because anybody could upload the one-millionth vid,” the company said in its statement. “Will it be you?”
Last month, ManyVids announced ongoing improvements planned for its social media platform, changes which the company said will “lead to more interaction and community building, and MV Stars and creators on MV.
“You will receive more exposure as your posts will go into your followers’ feeds and be seen as soon as they log in,” the company said at the time. “The more creators post and share on MV Social the more that everyone will get a chance to see and love all the awesome content that they may have otherwise missed.”
