YNOT – Shemale icon, Toronto club owner and T-girl social media entrepreneur Mandy Goodhandy unveiled the latest title in her Shemale Hardcore franchise May 12. The “coming out” party for Shemale Hardcore 6 took place at the popular Goodhandy’s nightclub in downtown Toronto.

YNOT.com: Okay, tell us all about your latest video release.
Mandy Goodhandy: Shemale Hardcore 6 contains two scenes with gorgeous homegrown shemale porn star Danika Dreamz and introduces two new faces: the lovely Sarah Von D — who is Danika’s real-life best friend since childhood — and the big-dicked, super kinky goth T-girl Phoenix. Danika does her first double-penetration attempt, which almost works, with two hot black guys with huge cocks. Then Danika and Sarah team up with muscle-male porn star Sam Swift for a hotel threesome, and Phoenix gets “owned” by black boy Kid Vega.
Was the DVD shot at Goodhandy’s?
Two scenes were shot in hotel rooms, and one was shot at Goodhandy’s when the club was closed.
How have sales of your previous releases done to date?
The porn industry has changed drastically with downloading and tube sites. We quite honestly barely break even on our porn movies these days, but it’s good publicity for the club and our brand. We have recently begun licensing our stuff to Canadian cable networks Bell ExpressVu, Rogers, Shaw and Cogeco, which is introducing new people to our work.
What is the market like for this kind of niche content?
The market for transsexual porn appears to be huge, but we are just a very small player in this vast sea of releases.
Your LadyPlus.com social networking site seems to be taking off. How is it doing?
We love the fact that our site has turned into such a variety of people on the fringe, not just T-girls and admirers. People are really interacting and claiming the site as home. More people are also visiting Goodhandy’s because of the popularity of the site. And we particularly like following the online adventures of people finding their niche, experimenting with their sexuality and feeling comfortable being able to make great progress with their transitions.
How did the release celebration go?
We were pleased that Danika Dreamz came to Toronto to celebrate the release of the new video. She takes her work as a porn performer seriously, and always likes to meet her fans. She did a special stage performance after midnight, giving away free DVDs and mingling with the guests. We also offered our notorious “big jugs” beer special — Mill Street Organic on tap — as well as a special “Danikosmo Martini.”
