YNOT – Maleflixxx, flagship in the fleet of gay online video on demand websites offered by Private Media Group division Sureflix Digital Distribution, has added Catalina Video to its list of content providers.
Maleflixxx also offers videos by All Worlds, Rascal and Dirk Yates. All four labels are subsidiaries of Channel 1 Releasing.
“For over five years now, we have had a strong working relationship with Maleflixxx and have a clear understanding of their premium model and success,” said Channel 1 President Rob Novinger. “It was only logical that we add the Catalina library to their network, as we have seen solid results with how they distribute our other libraries.”
Channel 1 acquired Catalina Video in 2001 and began re-mastering, re-packaging and re-releasing all of the studio’s classic titles on DVD and VOD for the first time. Founded in 1978 by William Higgins, Catalina encompasses one of the largest classic libraries in the gay adult industry. Earlier this year, Channel 1 announced that Catalina will begin releasing new features during 2011. The first new title is expected to be Frat Boy Fuck Down, directed by Channel 1 co-founder Chi Chi LaRue.
“The Catalina Video library is one of the most sought-after collections of classic content in the industry, and our users are already going crazy over its addition to our network,” said Sureflix President and Chief Executive Officer Eric Johnson. “With the addition of Catalina Video this week and the addition of Falcon Studios last week, Maleflixxx undoubtedly carries all of the premium brands in the industry.”
Maleflixxx Affiliates pays webmasters a 20-percent commission on gross revenues for the life of each customer they refer.
