LOS ANGELES – Lisa Hanna, a pleasure products industry veteran of more than 15 years, has joined Maia Toys as president of sales. In her new role, Hanna will work closely with the sales team to promote the company’s re-branding efforts and bolster a proactive approach to customer service.

According to a spokesperson for the Hong Kong-based company, the myriad customer connections and friendships Hanna developed while working with manufacturers and distributors were key to the company’s hiring decision.

“Lisa and I have different strengths but complement each other so well,” said Vice President of sales Nicole Talley. “We worked together for five years in distribution, and Lisa is a well-respected veteran in our industry. It was just an easy decision for us at Maia to bring her on board.”

In addition to driving market share, Hanna will assist with product development and the company’s marketing makeover.

“I recognized that [Maia] had quality products but just needed a few adjustments that could enhance the brand,” Hanna said. “I decided to join the company because I wanted a challenge of taking them to a higher level of success.”
