LiveUnicorns: An Open Letter in Support of Ukraine

Posted On 21 Mar 2022
By : Mallory Hall

LiveUnicornsLiveUnicorns touts itself as “the industry’s first subscription-based live cam platform and exclusive content site with a transformative mission to change the perception of what camming is and can be.”

They further state that, “through a forward-thinking approach, LiveUnicorns is showing the worth and potential of performers in a caring and collaborative culture.” According to the platform, this is accomplished via “a focus on tailored individual support and cooperation with a personal touch to help guide performers to not only achieve their current goals, but help grow and develop them into other aspects and possibilities within the company and the adult webcam industry as a whole. In addition, LiveUnicorns is growing a refined, inclusive and engaging universe for both performers and members where unique and original live content is being created, archived and enjoyed by all.”

LiveUnicorns recently issued an open letter regarding Ukrainian humanitarian support. Their statement and efforts follow:

Our hearts go out to everyone effected by the current situation in Ukraine and the resulting humanitarian crisis. Millions of people are forced to leave their homes and need to relocate outside of their home country, including many from our industry.

LiveUnicorns wants to put in motion efforts to not only raise money for humanitarian relief for Ukrainian refugees but help accommodate and find work for performers while they are displaced.

With this in mind for the month of March Live Unicorns will be donate 10% of all income from our site to Ukrainian refugees through various charitable entities and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).

LiveUnicorns will also work on relocating displaced Ukrainian performers and their families who are displaced to accommodations where they can stay for up to one week. Our goal is to directly book accommodation up to 30 rooms in multiple cities and locations in safe harbor countries around the Ukrainian border.

We will also continue to look into ways we can work with other organizations to help raise aid for sex workers, cam performers and other people within this industry on both sides who are being impacted by the current humanitarian crisis.

And finally, several of our executive staff have committed to donating their salaries to relief efforts.

This is just the beginning of our planned efforts to try and do what we can during this time of heartbreak and crisis.
