Dr. Joe Gow, who served as the 10th Chancellor of UW-La Crosse, became a huge news story for his firing after being outed for making adult content with his wife, Carmen Wilson. Dr. Joe Gow’s firing made big news under the moniker “Sexy Happy Couple.” Their content appears on Pornhub, as well as Only Fans, Loyal Fans, and their YouTube Channel, Sexy Healthy Cooking which also features adult stars – most recently Lauren Phillips.
“I feel Joe’s freedom of speech is being taken away with the university firing him. Yes, he’s chancellor, but he was engaging in something legal (making porn) that a huge part of the population indulges in. And sex work is real work! The whole thing isn’t fair, and I’m sorry this is happening to Joe,” says Lauren Phillips.
A petition to reinstate Dr. Joe Gow as Chancellor is now up at Change.org and it already has over 600 signatures.
“The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse has lost our dear Chancellor Joe Gow as he was terminated unfairly on December 27th. Joe Gow should be able to continue his position at the university because the vids are low key good. Please sign this petition to reinstate our beloved Porn Star Chancellor.”
