Lauren Phillips did incredibly well in HotMovies 2019 Porn Star Tournament, with it all coming down to a close call in the semi-finals, and despite not advancing to the final round she has decided to donate $500 to the charity she had chosen for the contest.
Lauren had been playing for the Amber Rose Foundation, which has the mission of “all things women and art empowerment. Rose, who is an activist/author/tv and radio personality, rallies her massive social media following to help produce the largest “SlutWalk” in the world, drawing more than 21,000 people to stand with her, as well as millions who stream online in support of gender equality and combating rape culture.
“It’s an important cause that I think can really make a difference and I’m very proud to support it,” Lauren said. “The foundation stands for principals that I think should be a priority for all people, but especially those of us in the adult industry. We need to fight for our empowerment. I think we’ve made great strides, but we still have a ways to go.”
