A man from Las Cruces, NM is facing charges after police say he pulled a knife on his girlfriend.
Las Cruces police said Daniel Albert Rojas was arrested last week Thursday following reports that he forcibly searched the victim’s body and refused to let her leave after mistakenly believing she had appeared in an adult video.
According to police, Rojas, 28, got angry because the performer in a pornographic video he was watching had distinctive marks on her body that resembled marks on his girlfriend. Officers say he then pulled a knife on her.
Let’s pause for just a moment here… Rojas was watching porn, and that’s apparently fine. The notion his partner had been in the content he was enjoying, however, was enough to cause him to lose his shit. The hypocrisy here is astounding.

Rojas was charged with felony counts of aggravated assault against a household member and false imprisonment. As of Friday Rojas was being held at the Dona Ana County jail without bond and it was not known if he had an attorney.
