HOLLYWOOD — YNOT has announced that stand up comedian Kelsey Cook will provide pre-show entertainment at the first annual YNOT Cam Awards in Hollywood. Cook will take the stage at the historic Avalon Hollywood around 7:30 p.m., between the end of dinner and the start of the awards show itself.
“From the start of planning for the YNOT Cam Awards, we wanted to feature a comedian who has material which will draw big laughs from an audience filled with industry insiders and performers,” says Jay Kopita, co-owner of YNOT. “Some of Kelsey’s work immediately came to mind, and we think she will be perfect for our inaugural YNOT Cam Awards show.”
Cook recently made her late-night TV debut with an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in March, followed by her Comedy Central debut on This is Not Happening in April. Her other television appearances include AXS TV Presents Gotham Comedy Live, Punchline and Laughs on FOX, Uproarious on FUSE and Greatest Party Story Ever on MTV.
Cook spent the last three years touring, performing in over 60 cities across the country with Jim Norton. Cook splits time between Los Angeles and New York, where she is a paid regular at The Comedy Cellar, The Stand, Gotham Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club and The Laugh Factory. She’s also a regular guest on the Jim and Sam Show on SiriusXM.
Kopita said additional pre-show entertainment will be announced in the coming week.
