Who doesn’t like a pool party? We recently spotted a fun-looking event announcement for models via Instagram. The best thing about this event though: It looks like it’s also going to be a great professionalization opportunity.
On July 21, Inked Magazine is sponsoring a pool party and photoshoot with photographer Kat Attack. Models may sign up to get their makeup and hair done by makeup artist Kandy K, then shoot with Attack.
After the photo shoot, attendees get to mix and mingle at a super cool — #awardwinning, even — pool with none other than Christy Mack. Mack is a model and former performer who survived a brutal assault in 2014 and has since moved forward to advocacy work in many areas. By all accounts, Mack is a unique and strong person and professional.
The event is happening in Orlando, FL. There also appears to be a second event happening in Miami, FL on July 22.
The venue location is not in the announcement. Neither are the rates. It seems that models wanting to attend must email Attack for rates and booking info — kat_attack_photography@yahoo.com. Space is most certainly limited.
