JuicyAds Rolls Out Hourly Targeting, Throttle Services

ClockCANADA – The JuicyAds network is beta-testing a new service that allows advertisers to target traffic by time of day. Invitations to participate in the closed beta are available by request.

Juicy’s hourly targeting, also known as “pay parting,” is fully compatible with banner campaigns. The system allows all other juicy targeting features to be used at the same time, with either network-wide blacklist or website-specific whitelist campaigns.

“Combined with our other available targeting features and soon-to-be-officially released additional targeting features, [hourly targeting] gives our advertisers more great options for higher return on investment,” said Juicy Jay, founder and chief executive officer for JuicyAds. “In the past several months, we have added many different targeting options and given the tools to our advertisers to take the piece of the pie that is the most delicious for them. We are giving our advertisers exactly what they want from the websites they want.”

According to Jay, applications for hourly targeting are many. For example, North American webcam studios may buy advertising and traffic only when they have a lot of models online, which allows the studios more choice and higher potential for conversions. Those seeking increased ROI from dedicated hosted servers may wish to buy traffic during times of the day when server load is low, allowing the full capitalization of expensive hardware.

“The potential list goes on and on,” Jay said.

In addition to hourly targeting, but closely related, is JuicyAds’s “traffic throttle.” The new system allows advertisers to smooth banner traffic delivery, dialing traffic delivery rates up or down to deliver traffic either “full throttle” as quickly as possible or slow delivery, as desired. The default setting is “fast delivery,” but the new throttle feature is proving handy for clients who wish to spread traffic from a large variety of publishers over a 24-hour period, Jay said.

The new features join the advertising network’s existing options, including the ability to target by country, niche, specific website and Alexa rating.

JuicyAds soon will debut a new proprietary system, SexyTechnologyTM, which Jay said has been giving clients “a distinct advantage over other networks” for the past year even though it has not been officially released. The company’s statistics indicate the feature improves engagement and traffic quality and automatically optimizes advertiser campaigns. SexyTechnologyTM has been active for select campaigns since December 2014.
