LOS ANGELES, CA – Many of us have been posed with the hypothetical question, “If someone made a movie about your life, what actor/actress would play your part?”For Jenna Jameson, the answer is the “sexiest woman alive” – at least according to Esquire magazine.

Scarlett Johansson, honored by Esquire readers last year with the title of “Sexiest Woman Alive,” is reportedly Jameson’s top choice to play Jenna in an upcoming biopic based on Jameson’s best-selling book, How to Make Love Like a Pornstar: A Cautionary Tale.

“We’re looking hopefully at Scarlett Johansson,” Jameson told FHM magazine. “She’s my choice. I think she’s beautiful.”

Jameson certainly isn’t alone in that assessment, as Johansson’s much-celebrated good looks have been central to the plot lines of a variety of her performances, including Woody Allen’s Match Point, her starring role opposite Bill Murray in Lost In Translation, and a cameo appearance as herself on HBO’s Entourage, in which Johansson was the object of main character Vincent Chase’s desire.

Johansson has expressed a willingness to perform nude scenes on camera if the right role comes along, saying last year that she’s “not opposed to doing nudity… it would just have to be the right project,” according to AllHeadlineNews.com

Whether Jenna’s biopic will turn out to be the “right project” remains to be seen – although there’s no shortage of entertainment media sources that have apparently decided it’s a ‘done deal,’ as evidenced by this sampling of headlines found online:

“Johansson to play scarlet woman” proclaims an article published on the website for Australia’s Sunday Times.

“SCARLETT’S RED HOT ROLE” – this all-CAPS treatment comes courtesy of the web home of Scotland’s Glasgow Daily Record.

“Sexy starlet in talks over raunchy new role” claims a headline on EntertainmentWise.com, (the article itself says only that Jameson has “hand picked” Scarlett to play the role and says nothing of any “talks”)

“Scarlett Johansson To Play Porn Star” reports TheBosh.com – atop an article that also claims Johansson “caused the breakup” of Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz.

According to Jameson, she is currently in talks with producers (a statement that is perhaps source of EntertainmentWise.com’s “in talks” claim regarding Johansson), and hopes filming will begin in 2008.
