YNOT – Leading up to the release of Ivan’s new title for Tom Byron Pictures, the director and the studio will host a series of consumer contests via the social networking medium Twitter.
To be conducted during March and April, the weekly “Tweet-ins” will award players DVDs containing some of Ivan’s most popular previous movies.
“With the Seasoned Players 15 [Twitter] contest being such a success [in January], we decided to reward our followers again,” Byron said. “Ivan has directed many movies for Tom Byron Pictures, and this is a chance for our fans to win some of his best titles.”
In order to enter the contest, participants must be at least 18 years of age and residents of the U.S. Winners will be required to provide proof of age and residency. To begin, follow the studio’s Twitter stream and Ivan’s. Then, re-tweet posts from either, as long as the original tweets contain pictures or video of stars from the upcoming Big Boob Film School Dropouts. The more times a participant re-tweets, the better his or her chance of winning, Byron said. One winner will be selected each week and notified by either Byron or Ivan via a direct message on Twitter.
“Twitter is a great outlet, because it creates an opportunity for stars and fans to communicate directly to each other,” Ivan said. “This contest is our way of rewarding our loyal followers and getting the word out about Big Boob Film School Dropouts. I am sure our fans will love to re-tweet photos of hot porn stars.”
The studio and the director, of course, will love the extra traffic they expect their websites to see as a result of the Twitter contests. Both hope the buzz on the social network will translate into additional sales of Ivan’s new title.
Big Boob Film School Dropouts stars Natasha Nice, Nika Noir, Nikki Sexx, Katie Kox and Alexia Rae. The DVD is expected to street in late spring.
