Live cam site IsLive.com has tapped industry professional Mike de Jong to lead international expansion.

De Jong, who will serve as managing director, formerly managed global business development for payment services provider Verotel. Previously, he headed the European sales team for an online market research company.

“When IsLive and I discussed the upcoming projects and their ambitions, it sounded like this was something I always wanted to do,” de Jong said. “So, the decision to join IsLive was a no-brainer.”

Netherlands-based Islive.nl started as a regional cam site in 2003. To this day, the company maintains its position as the leader in the Benelux region. Founder Jonkman said as the company grows, he intends  to maintain the service quality and personal attention for which the company is known.

“We’ve known Mike both personally and professionally now for a few years,” Jonkman said. “He has a great commercial mindset and built up an enormous international network. We are very excited to welcome him on board.”
