YNOT – An internet staple since 1998, iFriends’ 12 million subscribers can attest to the popularity of the live-cams website. There’s always room for improvement, though, according to the owners. So, this week the destination debuted upgrades designed to improve page-load times, ease navigation and increase traffic conversion.The most recent modifications to iFriends.net complement a number of other site enhancements undertaken this year with the goal of heightening user experience. iFriends integrated HQ webcam video streaming, introduced Cams Roulette (a randomizing live model selection feature) and provided Discussion Walls that enable social networking. Many of the improvements were driven by member requests submitted via the site’s Real-Time Suggestion Box feature, which is accessible from every page and allows users to voice their suggestions and speak directly to programming and design staff.
