PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – ICM Registry has launched the domain-matching program for the new generic Top-Level Domains .porn and .adult.

The program gives most .xxx domain holders a priority opportunity to register directly matching names in .porn and .adult. ICM has reduced its registration fees for the names, and some participating registrars are offering the names for as low as $12.99 apiece.

The registry has created a 1-2-3 guide to help .xxx domain holders figure out how to secure their names during May, before the names become generally available June 4. Names sold during general availability will be priced at regular registration fees, which start at $65, depending on the registrar.

ICM expects to launch the .sex gTLD later this year and plans to offer a similar domain matching program for that space.
