iBill to Brave the Waters of Internext

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL – In a move sure to raise a few eyebrows, and perhaps a few tempers, the Internet Billing Company (“iBill”) has announced that it will be attending Internext Expo in Hollywood Florida, August 5-7.According to a recent iBill press release, the company’s new owners have “made arrangements to allow for past and potential clients to sit down and speak with an iBill representative in an effort to resolve any open issues regarding monies owed, to close open settlements, and to answer questions about all of the payment solutions provided by iBill.”

In addition to performing public relations damage control, iBill will be pushing their new “gKard” payment solution, which iBill president Gary Spaniak says is a credit card processing solution that “works to
ensure that what happened last September never happens again,” in reference to last September, when iBill’s contract with First Data Corp. expired before they could find a replacement to handle processing of their credit card transactions.

The company’s release stated that among their goals for Internext was to “educate the industry” and “prove their resolve by settling debts and issues incurred by owners past.”

The release also touted the fact that “since the inception of the gKard debit card billing solution, not a payment to merchants has been missed.” This does not appear to have impressed some of iBill’s clients who are still owed money dating back to last year, judging by responses to recent iBill announcements posted to industry message boards.

According to the company’s release, webmasters and businesses who would like to speak with iBill are welcome to schedule a meeting in advance by contacting Todd Gravelle at tgravelle@ibill.com, or by calling
888-237-1764.
