YNOT – Hush Hush Entertainment will end its licensing and distribution deal with Shane’s World effective Sept. 20, the company announced Monday. According to a spokesperson, the dissolution of the nearly three-year relationship was amicable and will allow Hush Hush to grow in new directions.“Our irreverent style is at the forefront of all of our movies,” said Hush Hush Chief Executive Officer Andrew S. “From Whitezilla to our interracial Hush Hush and Bone Digital titles and our white-on-white and fetish titles from Voodoo House, fans can expect only great things in the future. We’re especially excited about our groundbreaking interactive VSEX project that is going to revolutionize the way fans get to interact with their favorite stars.”
Andrew S. also said new volumes in the Whitezilla, Blackzilla and Porn Week series are in the works, as well as new materials from the Blacks On Blondes and Dogfart lines.
The company also is creating a new interracial gay line, Black On Boys.
“There is a real void in high quality interracial gay movies,” said Vice President of Operations Valerie See. “We expect this line to become a top name in that niche.”
See said she looks forward to finding many familiar faces at the upcoming Expomark conference, where the company plans to offer specials and purchasing opportunities.
Hush Hush will continue to distribute Shane’s World products until Sept. 20, by which time the latter expects to have found a new distributor.
“We wish them all the best in their future endeavors,” Andrew S. said. “It’s a different industry than it was just three years ago. That’s the biggest challenge everyone’s facing right now, but we’ve worked hard to succeed at adapting to the ever-changing market and will continue to do so.”
