MONTREAL – Hotline Communications has announced the public launch of their Hotline fan platform, with an official launch date of Friday, September 15.
In the launch announcement, Hotline positioned the new platform as a response to censorship and financial discrimination affecting the existing platforms available to adult content creators.
“The repeated crackdowns over the last few years has demonstrated that the stranglehold that credit card processors have on the adult industry is getting stronger every day, suppressing the ability of creators to make a living and connect with the deepest needs of their fans,” the company said in the announcement. “Hotline has built a platform for creators, studios and their fans to freely connect and transact without the heavy-handed censorship of the credit card processors.”
Hotline Director of Operations Jonny Shea said the new platform “gives creators the ability to monetize content that has been sitting on hard drives gathering dust, not due to a lack of demand, but due to unnecessary censorship.”
Hotline also touted the fact that unlike some fan sites, their new platform also welcomes adult studios, presenting studios new avenues for interacting directly with their customers.
“Fans can access BTS content and chat directly with a studio rep to pitch scene ideas or even pay for a custom scene starring their favorite models,” the company noted. “For content creators, once your account is approved, you can sell content on your clip store, through subscriptions and through DMs – something not offered to studios on other platforms.”
“We originally aimed this project at creators, but quickly realized studios face the same restrictions and unjustified content removals,” Shea said. “We want to support all creators, including fetish content regularly removed from other platforms.”
According to Hotline, high-profile stars including Lexi Lore, Siri Dahl, Lexi Luna, Cherie DeVille, Josy Black, Dante Colle and Jade Kush have already come aboard the new platform, along with studios like KINK, Hentaied, FullPornNetwork, MatureNL and BAEB.
