VENICE, CA – On Friday, Brides.com published an article titled “Help! How Do I Feel
Comfortable With My Body During Sex?” and it features some excellent insight from adult
industry superstar Charlotte Stokely.

The piece was written by Anka Radakovich, one of the best-known sex writers in the
country, who came to fame with her wildly popular column in Details magazine. This piece is
for her Brides column titled, Sexual Healing.

Brides.com is one of the country’s most-trafficked sites, with an U.S. Alexa rating of 5,938, a
global rating of 23.388 and is #2 in the bridal category. (Fun fact: Alexa reports that the
amount of time spent on the site daily is an astonishing 1 hour 53 minutes.) It all started
with a reader’s question submitted to Anka: “I can’t seem to get over my self-consciousness
about my body in bed. My husband tells me I’m beautiful, but I’m too shy in bed due to my
body issues. What can I do?”

As always, Anka has answers. But she reached out to Charlotte to get another woman’s
perspective – and by selecting an adult star she was asking the type of person who gets
naked before the camera for all to see forever and ever, so she had better be very
comfortable with her body.

Still, it should surprise no one that the star of Justice League XXX (Axel Braun/Wicked
Pictures) and Confessions of a Sinful Nun (Sweetheart Video), like most people, struggles
with body issues, too.

“Never put yourself down during sex,” Charlotte suggests to Brides readers. “We can be our
own worst critics sometime, and you know, if they are horny, I doubt they're going to say
‘No thanks’!”

“Stokely has great advice for avoiding feeling self-conscious during that naked after-sex walk
of shame to the bathroom while your lover is watching you,” Radakovich writes, handing it

back to Charlotte to elaborate:
“If I’m feeling bloated and I know that sexy playtime is happening soon, I like to have a
pretty silk robe on hand,” Charlotte says. “This way, when I jump out of bed after sex, I can
throw it on and not feel so exposed, yet I’m still technically naked, and that’s sexy. When
returning to bed, I just slip it off or leave it on. The silk from the robe feels good on naked
skin, especially after orgasms.”
