Hazel Grace guests on the latest episode of The Misfit Effect podcast, title “The Melanin Effect.”
In the new, 90-minute episode with Sarah Lace and The Burbank Misfits, Hazel, the founder of InMelanin, talks about her “her journey in the adult entertainment industry, emphasizing her focus on women of color,” according to the announcement.
In the interview, Hazel also highlights the “challenges faced by women of color in the industry, including pushback and financial instability” and shares her vision for In Melanin, which launched their website earlier this year, aiming to “create a supportive community and high-quality content.”
Hazel also emphasizes the “importance of quality over quantity, advocating exclusive, well-produced content,” and addresses the issue of free porn, arguing that it “undermines the value of paid content.”
Hazel says she plans to expand her brand with future projects and events. The conversation on the podcast also highlights “the financial challenges faced by adult content creators, particularly black women, due to piracy and the high costs of production.” The discussion also covers the need for “safer, work-appropriate promotions and emphasize the value of their content,” and urges fans to support them directly.
Hazel said she “had an amazing time” on the podcast, adding that “stimulating conversation is always a thrill.”
