LONDON, UK – Harriet Sugarcookie, founder of the popular men’s lifestyle site HarrietSugarcookie.com, recently created a colorful new infographic for her readers in order to better understand the future of sex robots – specifically, men’s greatest fears about them.

Based on a public survey of over 500 men of varying ages in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Australia, Sugarcookie compiled the responses to her latest query, ‘What scares you most about Future Sex with robots?’
“Everyone’s obsessed with sex robots right now,” writes Sugarcookie in her latest online visual composition, ‘Top Fears-AI Sex Robots’. “They’re not without risks, some current and some predicted in sci-fi… with that in mind we asked men what their biggest sex robot fears were.”
Some of men’s fears were perfectly reasonable, with ‘hacking and data privacy’, ‘theft’ and ‘hygiene’ their main concerns; others were a bit odd and psychologically perplexing: ‘I’m afraid she would cheat on me’; ‘I’m scared I will fall in love with her’ (a full 10% of men polled cite this as their biggest fear); ‘I’m afraid she would rebel and hurt me or others’ (24%)
The men’s Number One fear at 26%? ‘I’m afraid she could be unhappy’. Of this particular phobia, Sugarcookie added, “It’s the sweetest possible thing to be afraid of. It’s fascinating that so many people care so much about a machine’s well-being.”
