Gamma Goes Live, Nabs LiveBucks.com and Related Sites

MONTREAL – Canadian-based Gamma Entertainment already operates one of the more popular adult affiliate programs, which boasts adult sites featuring well known stars like Tera Patrick, Silvia Saint and Peter North; but as of today they’re also one of the more serious players in the adult live cam business. Gamma has announced the acquisition of Inoveo Communications and all its assets, including the affiliate program LiveBucks.com, a program that features various live content sites such as PrivateFeeds.com and Camster.com.

While large adult companies routinely acquire smaller adult companies, this acquisition seems to be about more than just a quick sale since all LiveBucks.com employees will be retained and relocated to the Montreal offices of Gamma. Plus, Inoveo founder Karl Hamilton will join the Board of the new company, and two new jobs have been created, raising the Gamma total to 90 employees.

“This is such a great opportunity for the company I founded 10 years ago,” Hamilton said in a press release announcing the acquisition. “I feel that with Gamma’s expertise and strong footing in the industry, my baby will really thrive.”

According to Gamma, the acquisition of Inoveo means more technology, and more expertise.

“The purchase of Inoveo brings mature technology and expertise that benefits Gamma’s existing Pornication.com property and further fortifies and grows Gamma’s market share within the live industry,” the company said in a statement. “In the coming months, [company president] Karl Bernard expects to implement changes aimed at increasing overall quality of the products and maximizing revenues for models and affiliates.

A veteran of the adult Internet business, Gamma was founded in 1996 and also operates the programs Fame Dollars, Buddy Profits and Porn Access.
