It’s often hard to see the correlation between winning an adult industry award and growing or performing well as a business. From the outside looking in, it’s to view any industry award as just another statue being handed to someone on a distant stage.
For Gaming Adult, however, the winner of the YNOT Award for Best Gaming Company the last two years, repeating as the winner of the category is further vindication of the company’s vision and approach to the market.
Gaming Adult has experienced 80% growth since 2016, doubling its player base along the way. Across the board, the program’s retention and conversion rates have improved steadily since 2017. Its two flagship games, Hentai Heroes and Gay Harem, have between them 6 million registered players and 600,000 active monthly users.
From an inside perspective, what makes Gaming Adult special is the program owns and operates its own game studio. The company produces everything from the game art to the advertising banners used to promote those games. The task coverage is 360 degrees in-house; Gaming Adult staff do everything from writing the jokes players enjoy within the action of the game to operating the affiliate program, managing their own social media and promoting the games by word of mouth in their own personal lives.
Porco Rosso, the head of Gaming Adult, told YNOT he marvels somewhat at how far the company has come, in such a short time.

Even for a two-time award winner, there’s no time to rest on their laurels, though. Rosso said he could go on all day extolling his staff’s hard work and dedication, but there’s work to be done – and he needs to hold back some of his praise for the company’s next honor.
“I can say more, but I need to save something for the speech next year,” Rosso said. “After all, we are working on a new game…”
