FSC Welcomes New Board of Directors Members

YNOT – Adult entertainment industry trade association Free Speech Coalition on Tuesday revealed the results of its 2012 board of directors election. Accomplished by virtual ballot during December, the election invited all active members of the association to fill four open seats from a slate of seven candidates.

The FSC’s board of directors is composed of 13 people, each of whom serves a two-year term. Terms expire on a rotating basis so no more than one-third of the board’s seats must be filled in any year.

Incumbent candidates selected to return for another term are Evil Angel General Manager Christian Mann and El Dorado Trading Co. founder Larry Garland.

Joining the board for their first terms are Adam & Eve Pictures General Manager Bob Christian and performer-director and industry activist Kara Price.

“Bob brings a strong business component to the board, while Kara will bring a performer perspective,” said FSC Executive Director Diane Duke. “Those skills, coupled with their leadership ability, will be a valuable addition to FSC’s board.”

Members of the board still filling unexpired terms include Peter Acworth, Jeffrey Douglas, Mara Epstein, Sid Grief, Alec Helmy, Joel Kaminsky, Mark Kernes, Reed Lee and Lynn Swanson.
