The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) announced today the organization will hold a webinar on March 5 titled “No Stigma, All Strategy: A Tax Webinar for the Adult Industry,” led by tax expert Katherine Studley, AKA “The Only Consultant.”
Noting that “navigating the complexities of U.S. taxes is a challenge for many, especially for members of the adult industry managing their own businesses,” FSC said Studley “specializes in supporting the adult content industry, all within a completely judgment-free zone” and that the webinar represents a “chance to gain invaluable insights and guidance specifically designed for your unique needs.”
The “No Stigma, All Strategy” webinar will take place Tuesday, March 5 at 11am Pacific time. Those interested in attending the webinar can register here.
According to the announcement, the webinar will address:
- The essentials of American income tax for Adult Content Creators.
- Strategies for staying tax compliant in the U.S.
- Insights into common business expenses for the industry
- How to find accessible, professional, and judgment-free financial services.
“Raised in Buffalo, NY, I’m a tax accountant by trade and a creative in essence,” Studley said, per the FSC statement. “In 2021, I founded The Only Consultant, a judgment-free consulting firm dedicated to providing tax and financial advice to adult creators, exotic dancers, and other creative freelancers looking for a non-traditional tax experience. I had the idea while scrambling eggs with $400 in my bank account – I’ve been all in ever since.
“Despite having no prior experience in entrepreneurship or the ‘spicy’ industry, it became crystal clear there was an overwhelming need for straightforward, compassionate and judgment-free and financial help,” Studley added. “My client list quickly grew to hundreds of small businesses.”
In 2022, Studley founded Prisma Tax Group “to help my clients achieve financial success and peace of mind,” she said.
