FSC Reveals 2014 Award Winners

CANOGA PARK, Calif. – During an awards ceremony scheduled to take place Jan. 22, adult industry trade association Free Speech Coalition will recognize 11 companies and individuals as examples of business done right. The annual FSC Awards honor “excellence in business and outstanding service to the adult industry business community.”

The 2014 honorees are:

Legacy Award for innovation, successful business practices and contributions to the industry as a whole: Vivid Entertainment founder Steven Hirsch.

Positive Image Award, recognizing performers who have helped to dispel negative stereotypes and misconceptions connected to work in the adult industry: James Deen.

Man and Woman of the Year Awards, honoring business professionals who have shown exceptional leadership in corporate and civic matters: Pipedream Products Chief Executive Officer Nick Orlandino and Honey’s Place owner Bonnie Feingold, respectively.

Novelty Company of the Year for leadership, innovation, high standards and ethics: California Exotic Novelties.

Retailer of the Year, recognizing innovative marketing and ethical standards for customer service: Lions’ Den chain of adult stores.

Production Company of the Year for exemplifying creative innovation, high standards and ethical conduct: gay adult studio Hothouse Entertainment.

Internet Company of the Year, recognizing excellence, innovation and contributions to the industry: Gamelink.

Benefactor of the Year for unwavering support of adult and mainstream causes through philanthropy and advocacy: Wicked Pictures.

Leadership Award for demonstrating leadership by example: performer Nina Hartley and director Ernest Greene.
