LOS ANGELES – CalExotics founder and Chief Executive Officer Susan Colvin was presented with the Free Speech Coalition’s Woman of the Year Award Jan. 14 during a festive ceremony.
The FSC awards the annual Woman of the Year title to an individual who has displayed exceptional leadership qualities both within and without her own business and has made a significant, positive contribution to the overall welfare of the adult industry.
“I am incredibly humbled to receive this award from the Free Speech Coalition.,” Colvin said. “They are such a driving force in this industry. It is an honor to be recognized by them.”
Colvin founded California Exotic Novelties in 1994. Today the company is known as CalExotics, one of the largest and most prolific in the pleasure products industry. Among the innovations CalExotics introduced are feminine colors and female-centric products and packaging.
