FSC Appoints Megan Stokes to Board of Directors
Adult industry trade association Free Speech Coalition (FSC) announced Wednesday that Megan Stokes has been appointed to the organization’s Board of Directors, where she will fill a vacant seat until the FSC’s next annual board election, which will take place in December.
As FSC noted in the announcement, Stokes is a Partner at NMG Management, “a global leader in content revenue generation and premium brand management.”
“Over her two-decade career, she has held executive positions at leading companies including Shane’s World, Girlfriends Films, and Reality Kings, gaining deep expertise in business development, licensing, and sales,” FSC added in the announcement. “At NMG, she helps some of the largest online paysite brands expand their revenue streams and supports independent creators in scaling their distribution from fan sites to broadcast TV and licensing.”
“Megan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our board, as well as a deep commitment to the people who make this industry thrive,” said Alison Boden, Executive Director of FSC. “She has long been a visible and highly respected voice in our community, and we are honored to have her guidance as we navigate the challenges ahead.”
In addition to her roles at the studios and companies listed above, Stokes has often served as a panelist, moderator, and keynote speaker at major adult industry events and conferences. FSC noted in the announcement that Stokes is also “a mentor and champion for women in the adult industry, advocating for professional standards and creator-first practices that prioritize both growth and the well-being of workers.”
“Our industry is at a crossroads, and the choices we make now will shape its future for decades,” Stokes said. “I’m honored to serve alongside my peers supporting FSC’s mission to help protect our rights and make sure the future we’re building is stronger and more sustainable for everyone in it.”
