The Free Speech Coalition has partnered with CDFI blueacorn to create FSCPPP.com, an “industry-specific tool for members of the adult industry to apply for first and second-round Payment Protection Program (PPP) forgivable loans successfully,” the FSC announced Wednesday evening.
“During the first round of PPP loans, too many adult businesses and independent contractors didn’t apply or didn’t believe they qualified,” said Michelle L. LeBlanc, Executive Director of the FSC. “Our businesses deserve the same access to relief funds as those in other industries. Through our partnership with blueacorn, we’re able to give our members access to specialized resources that have greatly simplified the process of applying for second-round PPP loans.”
The FSC PPP site is designed to guide adult businesses and talent through the process of securing a forgivable loan. The FSC said the site is “specifically tailored to LLCs, contractors who receive 1099s, and self-employed individuals.” The process begins with a 60-second quiz to find out if you qualify. After that, it takes ten minutes to apply and one to two days to be approved. If approved, your loan will be funded in less than a week.
“Blueacorn’s partnership to create FSCPPP.com is the first step towards equal banking for all FSC members,” said blueacorn’s Matt Mandell. “The sexual health industry is often overlooked by the financial industry. Having owned multiple eCommerce sites in the pleasure products industry, I know firsthand how hard it can be,”
