PAHRUMP, NV – Some might call it ironic, but the Free Speech Coalition likely simply thinks it’s proof that the mainstream and the adult industry can successfully work toward a common goal. “It” is the April 29th 2nd Annual Sin City Chamber Spring BBQ at the Chicken Ranch Brothel in Pahrump, Nevada.The Sin City Chamber of Commerce is located inside Las Vegas and is comprised of a business membership with the goal of promoting its constituents and their products or services with equality, respect, and fairness. Given the infamous nature of the Las Vegas economy, that includes a wide range of merchant and businesses types.
According to Michelle L. Freridge, executive director of the Free Speech Coalition, the Spring BBQ event “was a really fun little fundraiser attended by more than 200 business representatives, with a dozen exhibits, the traditional hamburgers and hotdogs cooked on a grill, and a raffle.”
A portion of the funds raised via various carnival games, including a dunking tank featuring some of the ladies of the Chicken Ranch Brothel, went to the Free Speech Coalition. Both Freridge and attorney Michael Fattorosi attended the festivities to represent the FSC, as well as enjoy the day of music and revelry.
“FSC and the Sin City Chamber of Commerce are committed to working together to address the challenges facing both organizations,” Freridge assures industry members.
Other Sin City chamber events in the works include a poker tournament, a golf tournament, a holiday party, and monthly education brunches.
