HORSHAM, Pa. – Distributor Xgen Products encourages retailers to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month and is giving away free product to help them do exactly that.
During October, retailers will receive one Pleasure Wigs pink hair clip-in with each Bodywand Mini ordered. The hope behind the promotion is that retailers will donate the proceeds from pink clip-in sales to the breast cancer charity of their choice.
The company created a free, downloadable mini-poster to help with point-of-purchase sales.
“Empowering our customers is always our goal,” said Xgen President Andy Green. “We hope our promotion for Breast Cancer Awareness Month will inspire them. As always, our Xgen representatives are available to help them launch the campaign in their stores.”
According to the American Cancer Society, an estimated 231,000 Americans are diagnosed with invasive breast cancer every year. Due to improvements in detection, treatment and awareness, breast cancer patients are living longer, healthier lives, and doctors and scientists continue to make breakthroughs that someday will lead to a cure.
“Resources and funding for breast cancer research starts with awareness,” Green said. “We are proud to have the opportunity to get our customers to ‘think pink’ with this month’s promotion and look forward to their engagement in this very important cause.”
