YNOT – Rising Star PR is celebrating its third anniversary with a contest that will award free public relations services to an adult industry up-and-comer.

The contest is open to performers who have been in the business less than one year and are not represented by another company. The winner will receive a free month of full services from Rising Star PR, including press releases and media direction and assistance. Runners up will also be offered services at a reduced rate.

Rising Star PR clients and AVN Best New Starlet winners Kagney Linn Karter and Brooklyn Lee will help select the winner.

“I’m excited to be part of the Next Rising Star 2012 contest,” Lee said. “It’s important to have the support of a good PR team if you’re going to make it to the top. Rising Star PR is a great place to start.”

To enter, performers must [email=info@risingstarpr.com]email the company[/email] stating their interest in being a contestant. Karter and Lee will whittle the field to five finalists, who will be presented for a public vote.

Entry deadline is April 29; finalists will be announced May 1. Public voting is expected to end May 14, with the winner announced the following day.

Karter said Rising Star principals Devan Cypher and Acme Anderson impressed her from the beginning, and she doesn’t hesitate to recommend their services.

“Devan and Acme were polite and really seemed to know what they were talking about when we first met,” she said. “They put out press releases on what I was doing, set up interviews with magazines and media outlets, helped me get the cover of AVN and walked me through an amazing award season. I can definitely recommend their services.”

Rising Star PR’s clients include Lisa Ann, Jenna Haze and Jennaration X Studios, Gen Padova, Casey Cumz, Dylan Ryder, Bluebird Films and Sienna Sinclaire.
