Language Barriers Couldn’t Stop This Studio’s Ambitious Colombian Expansion Plans
FreakMob Media announced the release of Colombian performer Carla Morelli’s debut scene for the Miami-based adult entertainment studio. The production was filmed in Medellín, marking the company’s first international shoot.
“This was my first time shooting in another country with an established actress, and my experience in Colombia and the shoot with Carla was great,” said FreakMob, the company owner and co-star. “She’s so sexy and performs with a lot of energy.”
The studio owner noted that directing through a translator app presented challenges but expressed plans to improve his Spanish skills for future collaborations. He indicated intentions to return to Medellín for additional productions with Morelli.
The scene titled “Carla Morelli Welcomed Me To Colombia” is now available for streaming and download at the company’s website.
Carla Morelli is a Colombian adult entertainment performer based in Medellín who brings high energy and professionalism to her scenes, according to FreakMob Media. FreakMob serves as both owner and founder of FreakMob Media, frequently appearing as a co-star in the company’s productions while personally directing shoots.
Founded in 2016, FreakMob Media has grown from a small amateur production house to become a recognized adult entertainment company on the East Coast. The studio won Best Pro-Am Studio at the Urban X Awards in August 2024.
The company’s website features over 400 exclusive scenes with appearances by performers including Sarah Vandella, April Olsen, Julie Kay, and Callie Black. All new releases are shot in 4K resolution and available for download in 1080p format.
The studio relocated its production operations from New York and New Jersey to Miami. Content focuses primarily on scenes featuring performers with curvy physiques, maintaining what the company describes as an amateur aesthetic with professional production values.
The adult entertainment industry has seen increased international collaborations in recent months, with several U.S.-based studios expanding production to Latin American markets. Miami’s proximity to South America has made it a hub for such cross-border productions, particularly with Colombian performers who have gained prominence in the industry.
Medellín, Colombia’s second-largest city, has become an increasingly popular destination for international media productions due to lower production costs and a growing pool of local talent. The city has worked to rebrand itself as a hub for creative industries following decades of transformation.
