Football Team Has Less Than Zero Tolerance for Porn Logo

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Texans have accomplished a lot of things since they joined the NFL in 2002 after the Oilers moved to Nashville. Qualifying for the Super Bowl is not one of them. Sporting a porn logo appears to be another achievement the team has no intention to attempting in the foreseeable future. Which is too bad, because if the team felt otherwise, it could claim to have zero tolerance for failure.

Or any number of things.

That’s because porn valley-based Zero Tolerance Entertainment, which claims “zero tolerance for bad porn,” had extended a formal offer to place its company logo on the team’s practice uniforms – and was totally cock blocked.

Although the Texans opted out of the Zero Tolerance logo experience, The Chronicle reports that the team remains eager to hear marketing offers from other companies.

Zero Tolerance Entertainment produces higher end primarily wall-to-wall DVD and HD content that includes all-black, interracial and all-girl themes. The company received a mainstream no in 2005, when mainstream film The 40-Year-Old Virgin showcased their videos in a stack of porn presented to the title character.

“We were contacted from an unsolicited ad agency,” Texans vice president of communications, Tony Wyllie, explained, “and upon discovering it was an adult entertainment company, we shut it down.”

Lest anyone doubt the sincerity of Wyllie’s professional position on the issue, he assured that, “We will not consider, nor will we ever consider their offer. We will not be associated with them.”
