TORONTO, ON – Winners of the Third Annual Feminist Porn Awards were feted at a ceremony Friday evening at the Gladstone Hotel. Big winners included transgendered performer Buck Angel, Vivid-Ed director Tristan Taormino, BDSM pro Madison Young and writer-director-producer Erika Lust.For the first time, Friday’s awards presentation was followed on Saturday by a screening of several nominated films. 5 Hot Stories for Her (which took Movie of the Year honors), Trans Entities: The Nasty Love of Papi’ and Wil (winner of the Most Tantalizing Trans Film award), Want (winner of the Sexiest Short award), City of Flesh 6: Lisa’s Little Secret and Goddykeporn.com (which won both the Golden Beaver and the Most Deliciously Diverse Cast awards) were the subjects of a subsequent question-and-answer session with their directors.

The Feminist Porn Awards have become an annual tradition honoring the best in feminist adult entertainment.

“In order to be awarded with a coveted Emma, a film has to be feminist by design or by chance — and be sizzling hot,” said Alison Lee, manager of Good For Her, the Canadian sex-prop shop that conceived and hosts the awards. “What we are looking for are hot scenes that are not about exploitation, but about joyous exploration of sexuality.”
