Pineapple Support, the adult industry’s leading mental health nonprofit, is pleased to welcome Friends 2 Follow (F2F) as a bronze-level sponsor. The premium social network joins over seventy adult businesses and organizations in committing funds and resources to the organization.
In addition, F2F has contracted Pineapple Support’s “Pineapple Team Wellbeing” service, which provides in-house training and support to help team members feel supported in their roles and provide better care to creators. The package gives content creators registered with F2F access to a monthly support group, provided by a licensed Pineapple Support therapist.
“Friends 2 Follow’s unique offering of mental health support is a significant USP to our creators,” says Martijn van Lom, founding partner of F2F. “By partnering with organizations like Pineapple Support, F2F.com goes beyond traditional content platforms, addressing the mental well-being of its community members. This commitment to mental health distinguishes F2F.com as a platform that cares deeply about the holistic well-being of its users.”
Pineapple Support was founded by performer Leya Tanit in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. The organization, a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, has connected over 12,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.
“I’m thrilled and grateful to F2F for their generous contributions and support,” says Tanit. “Each tax-deductible donation we receive allows us to continue providing stigma-free and sex-positive therapy to adult performers, and training services to organizations that work with them. I’m proud to be part of an industry that recognizes its responsibility to protect those at its core.”
