NEW JERSEY – Amsterdam isn’t the only city hosting a major adult entertainment event this weekend – in fact, more than 18,000 people are expected at another show right here in the United States. That’s because Exxxotica Expo is taking its show back to the New Jersey Expo Center starting on Friday, September 25th, and sticking around until Sunday evening when the doors close at 7:00 pm.Exxxotica is returning to New Jersey this year even after politics threatened last year’s event; Exxxotica organizers say Dennis Elwell, the former Mayor of Secaucus, had tried to shut down the show, which forced the eventual move to the NJ Expo Center. All is well this year though, with Elwell indicted on federal corruption charges and advance ticket sales up 40%.
So what’s in store for attendees? Fans will meet a lot of our industry’s biggest stars at Exxxotica, with names like Jesse Jane, Sunny Leone, Tera Patrick and Ron Jeremy all planning to attend. Also showing up this year is the infamous Amy Fisher, the “Long Island Lolita” whose “sex tape” has been extremely popular on the Internet. And paying tribute to industry legends, Exxxotica will feature a new “Legends of Exxxotica” lineup of AVN Hall of Fame performers like Seka, Ginger Lynn and Sean Michaels.
“We wanted to do everything in our power to make this year’s show bigger than 2008’s,” said J. Handy, Director of Victory Tradeshow Management, operators of Exxxotica Expo. “We are delivering the stars that the fans told us they wanted to meet, and producing more interactive events on our stage and more seminars. This show is about the fans, and it’s awesome to be able to bring them exactly what they want.”
Stage entertainment this year will include interactive game shows, exotic dancers and DJs. The show floor will open to fans at 4:00 pm on Friday, September 25th, and run until 11:00 pm that evening. Saturday’s fan hours will run from 1:00 pm until 11:00 pm, and Sunday the floor will be open from noon until 7:00 pm.
