CHICAGO, Ill. – 3XEvents has published a set of COVID-19 guidelines for the upcoming Exxxotica Chicago, clarifying that while vaccination is not required for attendees, “face masks are suggested for anyone who is not fully vaccinated.”
Exxxotica Chicago is scheduled for July 16-18 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.
In its statement, 3XEvents said that while vaccinations will not be required, “we ask all fully vaccinated attendees to bring their vaccination card.” Those who do bring their vaccination cards will have the option of receiving a “Vaxxxed and Waxxxed” wristband.
In its statement, the company said the “elective wristbands identifying a person as fully vaccinated or proof of a negative test will be available in Hall G,” adding that “cameraphone phones or photocopies of vaccination cards will be accepted.” 3XEvents also specified that “free face masks will be provided by Chaturbate at the vaccination wristband station.”
“Onsite COVID-19 testing will be available in the lobby of Hall G,” the company added in its statement. “Both 15-minute rapid and PCR testing will be available. PCR testing is free of charge.” (The statement did not specify a cost for the 15-minute rapid test.)
“Exhibit booths will be more spaced out than previous events and aisle widths have been doubled,” the company noted in its statement.
In its statement, 3XEvents said that in attending the event, attendees agree to the following:
-In the past 10 days you have not had a COVID-19 diagnosis and have not experienced or currently not experiencing the onset of any of the primary symptoms of COVID-19.
-You have not been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 within the last 10 days.
-You will not walk the show floor, attend any seminars, demos or after parties if you experience any primary symptoms related to COVID-19, or are currently diagnosed and/or suspect you currently have the virus.
