NASHVILLE, TN — Now ex-Tennessee Highway Patrolman James Randy Moss likely made himself a number of mental “notes to self” after learning that he had been dismissed from his position as a state trooper. Chief among those is likely a reminder not to record himself in the act of accepting sex in exchange for traffic crime violation leniency – especially with an admittedly blogging-friendly porn star.That flash of insight came too late for Moss’ further in the Tennessee force, however, after he let Knoxville performer Barbie Cummings off with a blowjob in the patrol car and a bottle of prescription drugs tossed into the high grasses.

Moss has been accused of pulling Cummings over for speeding early in the morning of May 7th and asking what it would take for her to provide him with sex after the two discussed her profession and viewed her Web blog via a laptop in the patrol car.

Originally suspended by the THP on May 10th, after it became aware of the incident due to an internal report about a blog entry on Cummings’ site, Moss had a decade of experience on the force when he was terminated. Adding to his current woes is the possibility that criminal charges may be brought against him for destroying narcotics discovered during the traffic stop – and that may only be the beginning.

“There could be other charges,” Department of Safety spokesman Mike Browning informed the press.

The officer, who confessed that he wished he’d been able to pursue a career in adult entertainment, according to Cummings, did not mention finding any drugs during the stop, but Cummings’ now vanished blog mentioned that the two had discussed the bottle of “happy pills” she had with her and how a drug charge could keep her from leaving the state for work.

Although his career in the police force is likely over, perhaps where one professional door closes, another has opened. After all, it’s not like scandal is necessarily a bad thing for a porn hopeful.
