LAS VEGAS, NV – Hugh Hefner and the three hot chicks who live with him in the Playboy Mansion may soon be inviting even more people inside their palace of pleasure if E! Networks successfully inks deals with Europe and Asia.The popular pop culture network aims to export Girls of the Playboy Mansion to The Netherlands and Luxembourg for over-the-air, basic cable, and basic satellite television broadcasts, while Denmark hopes to snare exclusive analog and digital cable, terrestrial, and satellite rights to the 15×30-minute series, known as The Girls Next Door in the United States.
Other nations preparing to welcome the girls (and Hugh) are Norway, Korea, India, Iceland, Belgium, Sweden, and Romania. As Duccio Donati, vice president of international sales at E! Network sees it, “Entertainment fans around the globe are fascinating with Hugh Hefner and the world of Playboy. We’ve had an amazing interest from international buyers in all major territories and hope to announce additional deals soon.”
Once the ink is dry, what the world wide audience can expect from their visits at the mansion are “a behind the scenes look into the life of this self-made magnate from a truly new vantage point – through the eyes of the three young women he loves.”
