Erotic Heritage Museum Welcomes Kelly Shibari as Marketing Outreach Coordinator

LAS VEGAS, NV — The Erotic Heritage Museum welcomes Kelly Shibari in her new position as its Marketing Outreach Coordinator. The PRSM Group CEO will, effective immediately, be the point person for the Museum’s events, workshops, screenings, and other offerings for the public.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome Kelly to our crew of amazing Women,” says EHM Executive Director Dr. Victoria Hartmann. “I have been following her career for years and have the utmost confidence she will be an incredible asset to the Museum and its Mission of inclusion, entertainment, and education. I look forward to working with her as the Museum enters its next phase of Evolution.”

During her 10+ years in the adult entertainment industry as a much-sought-after performer, Kelly’s accolades are well-documented, including awards for her performances, as well as increased visibility through pleasure products collaborations and mainstream cameos. The co-director, writer, and host for Guide to Wicked Sex: Plus Size, Kelly is also the only plus size model ever to appear in Penthouse Forum (June 2014) as well as Penthouse (January 2016). In addition to music video and television cameos, Shibari was also featured in an episode for documentary producer Morgan Spurlock’s Sexish, on his SMARTish digital network, and occasionally lends a hand as a fill-in model for the character of Pam Poovey for the FX series Archer.

Named 2015’s “Person of the Year” by The Sexposé, Kelly has parlayed her experience and network in the industry into the successful PR & Marketing firm ThePRSMGroup; in addition to representing clients in the adult entertainment, sexuality, and novelty fields, Kelly has also been a brand ambassador for several pleasure products companies, and was featured as the cover model for online retailer SheVibe’s September 2014 issue. In addition to her busy schedule, Kelly is also the adult track coordinator for the international high IQ society, Mensa, for its annual North American conference.

“I’m so honored to be invited to work with the EHM team,” says Kelly (https://about.me/KellyShibari). “I’ve visited the Museum for years, whenever I’m in Vegas – I even held a breast cancer fundraiser there in 2010. I’m thrilled to work with those who deal in all aspects of sexuality – educators and thought leaders, as well as filmmakers, entertainers, pleasure product manufacturers, media, and more – to bring their expertise to the Museum to share with the public. With a view towards not only maintaining relationships with the local crowd, while also appealing to those traveling to Sin City, we intend to make the EHM a destination location for all who are interested in human sexuality, its history, and future.”

The Erotic Heritage Museum, located at 3275 Sammy Davis Jr Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89109, houses more than 24,000 square feet of permanent and featured exhibits. The museum’s ethos is that sexual pleasure and its depiction are natural aspects of the human experience, and that such celebrations of individual human sexuality – that of pleasure – must be made available to all, regardless of gender, race, or belief.

With so much of global erotic heritage undervalued, criticized, or even lost over time, the EHM is dedicated to the preservation of as much erotic heritage as is possible to display. Scouring the world for its exhibitions, the Museum furthers its purpose by providing space for scientific and literary functions relating to sexual, emotional, mental, and physical health. As such, the EHM is as much an assemblage of some of the most important sexual artifacts, tableau and interactive exhibitions in the world as it is a one-of- a-kind lecture and classroom space.

The Erotic Heritage Museum is owned and managed by the Harry Mohney Erotic Museum LCC, a Nevada corporation. For more information, visit https://www.eroticmuseumvegas.com or call 702.794.4000.

About Erotic Heritage Museum:

The Harry Mohney Erotic Museum, also known as the Erotic Heritage Museum (the EHM), began as a partnership between a preacher (the Rev. Ted McIlvenna) and a pornographer (Harry Mohney). The EHM houses more than 24,000 square feet of permanent and featured exhibits championing the wonders of erotic imagination, as depicted through artistic expressions of sex and love. The museum’s ethos is that sexual pleasure and its depiction are natural aspects of the human experience and that such celebrations of individual human sexuality – that of pleasure – must be made available to all, regardless of gender, race, or belief.

In addition, the Museum’s theatre is home to the incredibly popular live show, “Puppetry of The Penis,” Thursday-Sunday evening each week. Working to build a sex positive exhibition space, the largest museum in the world for the preservation of erotic artifacts, fine art, film, education, and cultural events is a favorite destination both for locals and for those visiting Sin City.
