Adult filmmaker Erika Lust has announced the release of “If Only I Had a Dick,” a film based on a fantasy harbored by iconic adult performer Stoya. According to the release announcement, the new film “explores power and pleasure dynamics when a cisgender woman wakes up with morning wood.” The film marks Stoya’s directorial debut for Erika Lust’s eponymous project, ERIKALUST.
“If Only I Had a Dick” features sexual performances by Calita Fire, Catherine Knight, and Tommy Cabrio, the latter of whom “acted as a penis double.” The film marks the first time ERIKALUST has used a penis double on set, a “feat that required precise skill for the filming, acting, and editing processes,” according to the announcement.
The film follows the story of a woman who fantasizes about the idea of having a dick, inspired by Fiona Gile’s book, Dick for a Day: What Would You Do If You Had One?
The announcement noted Giles’ feminist work is a “piece with a collection of interviews on the subject of how someone would act if they had a penis for just 24 hours.” Both Giles’ work and Stoya’s new film spring from the same question: “What would you do if you had a dick for a day?”
In “If Only I Had a Dick,” the central character (Calita) “spends the whole day doing all she’s envisioned doing with this new apparatus, from swishing and swinging to calling her best friend to test things out in the hottest way possible.”
“The story’s main point is this empathy between people with different genitals and what it’s like to fuck with a penis,” Stoya said. “Dicks telegraph how you’re feeling, and they mean so much in our world – they are indicators of power.”
Erika Lust described Stoya as “a power force in the industry who has inspired people for many years.”
“Having her on set to direct her very own confession was a delight,” Lust added, “and what better way of doing it than with a movie that explores gender roles and, ultimately, dicks!”
