Eldorado Launches Elevate U 2.0

Eldorado Trading CompanyBROOMFIELD, Colo. – Adult toy, lingerie and party supply distributor Eldorado Trading Company has announced the release of five new episodes of its award-winning e-learning series, “Elevate U.” The new video lessons topics include Sexual Health and Wellness Concerns, Sex As We Age, Kink Dynamics, Centering the Customer Experience, and Versatile Products.

In its announcement, Eldorado said that Sarah Tomchesson, the founder of Damiana Consulting, collaborated with the Eldorado marketing team to develop and produce the new Elevate U video content.

“Tomchesson has led pleasure-based sex education throughout her 15 years career within the adult retail market, which has kept her curious and connected to the power of pleasure as a healing tool,” Eldorado explained in its release, adding that Tomchesson invited the talents of Sandra Daugherty (aka “Sex Nerd Sandra”) to host the newest episodes. Eldorado noted that “as a sex educator and a highly successful podcast host on the Nerdist network, Daugherty has consensually touched the lives of millions with her unique perspective and quick wit.”

“Retail staff are the front-line educators in the field of sexuality and equipping them with the tools to properly address the sexual health needs of customers is essential,” Tomchesson said. “Eldorado identified this need and Elevate U provides a comprehensive training program for retailers across the country that goes well beyond the basic functions and selling points of pleasure products. We can’t wait for retailers to dive into this engaging, informative, and highly quality video series.”

The original Elevate U series is a 16-lesson e-learning program that explores a variety of sexual health topics.

The program was “designed to go beyond basic product features to provide adult retailers and their employees the knowledge and skills they need to become a sexual health resource in their community,” Eldorado said in its latest announcement. This innovative, mobile-friendly education series is available to active Eldorado customers.”

“The disparity in sexual health education nationwide makes it challenging for new retail employees to have meaningful conversations with their customers beyond product basics like speeds, functions, and materials,” said Eldorado Marketing Strategist Jamie Newmark. “Eldorado’s Elevate U education series helps to bridge the education gap, ensuring retail associates can serve their community as a sexual health resource while building stronger consumer relationships and increasing store loyalty.”

Eldorado CEO Wanda Garland said her company is “proud to continue with this second phase of Elevate U that builds on the foundation of quality, accurate, and relevant education for front-line retail workers.”

“With the release of these five new lessons and plans for more in 2022, we are committed to the continued investment in retail education,” Garland added.
