BALTIMORE, Md. – The Dungeon Store recently announced the release of the “Thing Noir,” a new electro play toy designed for use with violet wands.
Described as a “hand-shaped accessory that plugs directly into a violet wand (not included), or for a milder sensation,” the Dungeon Store explained that the Thing Noir “can be held while using a conductive body cable.”
“The fingers allow for multiple contact points at once,” the company added. “Thing Noir and all plug-in accessories from The Dungeon Store are spark gapped for safety.”
“Attached to the wand, the hand is an extension of your hand,” said Anne Bryne, Founder and Co-owner of The Dungeon Store. “Because the fingers are spread, when a nipple, an earlobe, or the septum of the nose are between the fingers, the arc will go across both sides.”
Brittany Wilson, Sales and Marketing Director for The Dungeon Store, called the Thing Noir a “fun attachment that gets into small spaces, and adds some character to your violet wand kit.”
“The Thing Noir was very popular at Electropolis in LA in June, and they received a good response at shows,” Wilson added.
In the announcement, the company noted that Thing Noir is made in-house at The Dungeon Store, a woman-owned, intergenerational family business, that prides itself on an over two-decade history of “curating collections of fine BDSM and fetish toys with an eye towards community care and development.”
Thing Noir isn’t the only electro play device recently announced by The Dungeon Store. Early last month, the company unveiled “Badger Blades,” another new conductive pleasure product.
“Badger Blades are made in house as one of many violet wand toys in our collection,” Bryne explained at the time. “We’ve also found these to be very handy for wax play. After wax has been applied and cooled, Badger Blades can be used to safely remove the wax as part of the scene. That can be done without the electrical play of a violet wand. But when a violet wand is used with the Badger Blades and our Blacklight Wax, you’ll get quite a light show at play parties.”
