LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs) has announced the return of the show’s Mistress of Ceremonies, Domino Presley, who will MC the awards at the historic Avalon theater in Hollywood, California, on Sunday, March 9.
“Thank you so much Steven and Kristel for believing in me and giving me this amazing opportunity for the last six years,” Presley said of returning to serve as TEA MC. “I can’t believe I’ve been hosting the Trans Erotica Awards longer than some of our biggest trans performers have even been in the industry. It’s been so beautiful watching all of them grow into these massively accomplished mega-stars, and I look forward to seeing each and every one of them this year. I’m looking forward to seeing lots and lots of beautiful gowns.”
TEA Executive Producer Kristel Penn said Presley is “an integral part of the fabric of the TEAs and its growth.”
“She is a beautiful force of nature, not just as a performer, but as a staunch advocate in the trans adult community,” Penn added. “She is quick-witted and has such a presence on stage. I can’t think of anyone else who could command the respect and attention of our guests in the way she can.”
The award nominees for the 2025 TEAs were announced last week. The full list of this year’s nominees is available on the TEA Show website.
Penn said the “selections were compiled through our open pre-nomination process and from the submissions of producers and companies in our industry,” noting that the next phase is the judging.
First established as an online competition, the Trans Erotica Awards was conceived by leading trans studio Grooby and was later expanded to an in-person event held in Hollywood. The show now proudly welcomes industry guests and stars from all over the world.
The 2025 TEAs will be held on March 7 and 9, at the Avalon theater and its connecting property, the Bardot, in Hollywood, California. The two-night event includes the official pre-party on March 7, 2025, and the Awards program on March 9, 2025. Entertainment at the event will be announced in the weeks to come.
