Director Wrex Oliver is celebrating the Pride Month launch of his debut gay feature, the parody “Sexerance” (SayUncle) —a surreal, erotic twist on the lauded Apple TV series, “Severance.”

The movie, which stars Nicholas Michaels, Eddie Patrick, Gage Palmer and Cole Connor, “dives deep into a strange workplace where memory, identity, free-use relationships, and taboo family ties are all part of the job,” a SayUncle representative said.

At Cumon Industries, four employees have undergone a controversial brain procedure called ‘sexerance.’ Inside the office, they can’t remember anything from their personal lives. Outside of it, they have no clue what goes on at work. What none of them realize? They’re not just coworkers—they’re a pair of stepdads and stepson.

Wrex commented, “This might have been my most challenging project to date — and not for the reason you think. Helming a movie is one thing; making a credible take-off of such a fascinating and  popular series is quite another. I’m proud of ‘Sexerance.'”

“Sexerance” has been split into episodes which have been released across SayUncle’s top channels.  The final installment debuts Thursday, June 26.
