LOS ANGELES, CA – Rookie Houston Texans’ quarterback Deshaun Watson has ignited his team early in the season and now he is in the Vivid Radio Sports Spotlight.

Texans’ general manager Rick Smith said after his team’s recent 54-14 victory over Tennessee, in which Watson had four touchdown passes and one rushing score, that Watson “had a wonderful game, but in this league, it’s about one thing – winning championships. I think he’s got all the ingredients to help lead his team to a championship.”
The 22-year-old Watson is from Gainesville, GA and attended Clemson University in South Carolina, where he graduated with a communications degree. “Being a quarterback, especially at this level, you have to be able to communicate with all the guys, when to communicate with them, to understand what type of mood they’e in, and I guess your own vibe and energy that you give off” said Watson.
